costco whole 30 finds

I'm so excited to start planning our Whole 30 starting January 2nd. We ran to Costco this weekend to get some of our favorite Whole 30 Approved foods and begin the meal planning process (one of the most important parts of a successful Whole 30!) Here are some of our favorite items!

  • Berries: we use these over salad, in chia seed pudding, and as a snack. Costco's berries are super fresh and last over a week.
  • Larabars: They have two flavors in each box, usually Apple Pie and Cashew Cookie (at least those are the flavors at our Costco), both with Whole 30 compliant ingredients. These aren't endorsed by Whole 30 anymore, though, as for some, they feed your "sugar dragon". So be careful and use them sparingly if you are doing a Whole 30.
  • Almond butter: You can't beat 8.99 for this huge jar! I use this with apples for a snack, on my chia seed pudding, in an almond milk smoothie (smoothies aren't endorsed by Whole 30 either, but you can make smoothies with Whole 30 compliant ingredients), and over bananas.
  • Pace picante salsa: So good and compliant. Can't beat this deal--2 of these jars for 4.99!
  • Tomato paste: I used this in a paleo (and Whole 30) tomato soup this weekend.
  • Chopped butternut squash: I use this in sausage and veggie one pot dinners, in egg bakes, and also in the crock pot with shredded pork or chicken.
  • Pecans: Costco is THE best place to buy pecans. I love these on salads and chia seed pudding.
  • Mixed baby potatoes: These are super easy to slice up quickly and use as a side. We do this for so many dinners.
  • Ground turkey: We use this for taco meat and spaghetti meat sauce.
  • Chicken drumsticks: We love doing these on the grill with a little garlic and salt and pepper.
  • Diced tomatoes: I used these in a paleo tomato soup and they are good to have on hand to add to a crock pot meal.
  • Stir fry vegetable blend: Roasting these in the oven makes for a super easy side and we also add them to a one pan meal.
  • Aidell's chicken apple sausage: We eat these ALL the time and all ingredients are Whole 30 compliant.
  • Tuna: Great price for tuna and an easy last-minute lunch.

Hope you find these ideas useful and can use them to help planning your next delicious meal!
